Amanda Nero had 18 points and Dani Hvisdak 17 for Lowellville, now 3-0.
NILES -- The Niles High girls basketball team rushed out to a 25-0 lead in the first quarter, then cruised to a 63-22 victory over LaBrae Thursday in a non-conference game.
Stacie Ray sparked the Red Dragons (2-0) with 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals.
Taura Michelle chipped in with 13 points.
Niles had a 38-8 rebounding advantage.
East Palestine 38, South Range 34
NORTH LIMA -- Abbey Gorby had 12 points and four steals while Liz Strohecher added 10 points, as East Palestine outscored South Range in the last quarter, 8-2.
Michelle Pingley had 12 points while Kelly James had eight with eight rebounds to lead South Range.
Lowellville 57, Columbiana 41
LOWELLVILLE -- Amanda Nero had 18 points and Dani Hvisdak 17 to pace Lowellville (3-0), which hit four 3-point goals in the final quarter to break open the game.
Dana Donatelli added 11 points and nine rebounds while Tammy Nero had nine points, including three of the Rockets' seven 3-point goals.
Stevie Goist had 15 points and Carly Washinko 13 for Columbiana (2-1).
Mineral Ridge 44,Pymatuning Valley 40
ANDOVER -- Dariana Casado had 16 points and 11 rebounds while Carrie Wilson added 10 points and eight rebounds to lead Mineral Ridge (3-1).
Sarah Sabel had 17 points and Nikki Hazlett 13 to key Pymatuning Valley (4-1).
Leetonia 51, Western Reserve 45
LEETONIA -- Jessica Deville fired in 23 points and grabbed 22 of 42 rebounds and had three steals to spark the Bears (2-1).
Alison Summers chipped with 12 and Bri Duko had 10 and four assists.
Anna Marie Ricciardi led the Blue Devils with 18 points.
McDonald 54, Lordstown 30
MCDONALD -- The Blue Devils (3-1) built a commanding 35-11 lead by intermission.
Amy Dosak paced McDonald with 16 points and Ashleigh Tondo had 15, with eight assists and three steals.
Jennifer Allison led the Red Devils (1-5) with 10 points. Emily Rech and Jennifer Bennett, who had two steals, each had five rebounds.
Jackson-Milton 44, Sebring 43
NORTH JACKSON -- The Bluejays (1-2) outscored Sebring 15-7 in the fourth quarter.
Junior Sarah Johnson paced Jackson-Milton with 19 points, all but two of those coming in the second half. She sank two free throws with nine seconds remaining to provide the tying and go-ahead points.
Rachel Hawkins scored 12 points for the Trojans (1-3), while Kaley Drennen and Nicole Amabeli added 10 points each.
