CHALLENGE 24 Trumbull County schools



Pupils from Trumbull County schools competed this week in Challenge 24, a mathematics competition in which competitors use multiplication, addition, subtraction and division in various combinations to manipulate four numbers on a card to equal 24. The competitors in this week's competition at Howland High School had advanced from a previous contest. The winners:
FOURTH GRADE

Fourth, Andrew Fonce, Garfield Elementary, Warren.
FIFTH GRADE
First: Faisal Mangalji, North Road School, Howland.
Second: Anthony Tam, H.C. Mines, Howland.
Third: Anthony Hatzilbrou, W.S. Guy School, Liberty.
Fourth, Kathryn Hamilton, H.C. Mines School, Howland.
SIXTH GRADE
First: Manish Mehta, Howland Middle School.
Second: Jay Krishnan, W.S. Guy School Liberty.
Third: Ryan Glinn, Howland Middle School.
Fourth, Colton Hill, Leavitt Elementary, LaBrae.
SEVENTH AND EIGHTH GRADES
