Spurs 98, 76ers 93
SAN ANTONIO -- The second-longest winning streak of the NBA season came to an end as Tim Duncan scored 29 points and the San Antonio Spurs blocked 16 shots in a 98-93 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers came in with an eight-game winning streak but lost in San Antonio for the 16th consecutive time.
Stephen Jackson came off the bench to score 24 points, while David Robinson added 13 and Tony Parker 10. Duncan also had 10 rebounds and eight blocked shots.
Philadelphia was led by Allen Iverson with 21 points, but he shot only 9-of-30.
Magic 88, Wizards 78
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tracy McGrady had 27 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, and Orlando's defense smothered Washington in the first half.
Mike Miller added 22 points while Shawn Kemp scored a season-high 15, including 11 in the first quarter. Grant Hill was held to five points but had 10 rebounds for his third straight double-figure rebounding game.
Washington was held to 11 points in the second quarter and 35 in the first half. Both figures were season-bests for the Magic, one of the lowest-ranked defensive teams in the NBA.
Jerry Stackhouse had 23 points and Michael Jordan 16, but they combining to shoot 14-for-38 with seven turnovers.
Celtics 91, Knicks 80
BOSTON -- Antoine Walker scored 25 points and Tony Delk added 20 to lead the Boston Celtics to their sixth straight victory over the Knicks.
Paul Pierce added 19 points for the Celtics, who have not lost to New York since March 1, 2001.
Pierce added nine rebounds and eight assists. Tony Battie added 11 points and nine rebounds, and Walker had nine rebounds.
Allan Houston, the league's sixth leading scorer, was scoreless in the first half before finishing with seven points on 3-of-13 shooting.
Jazz 104, Grizzlies 71
SALT LAKE CITY -- Calbert Cheaney scored a season-high 14 points and Karl Malone added 13 points and eight rebounds as Utah kept Memphis winless on the road.
Matt Harpring also had 13 points for the Jazz, who have won nine of their last 10 and climbed four games above .500 for the first this season. The Jazz didn't play a starter in the fourth quarter. Andrei Kirilenko had 15 points and fellow reserve forward Scott Padgett was 6-for-7 from the floor and scored 14 for Utah, which shot 55.6 percent (45-for-81) while winning its third straight.
Memphis lost its fifth in a row and fell to 0-10 on the road.
Suns 102, Pacers 96
PHOENIX -- Stephon Marbury had 19 points and nine assists and all five Phoenix starters reached double figures.
The Suns topped 100 points for the second time this season and outscored the Pacers 10-3 over the final 3:05 in a tight, up-and-down game.
Penny Hardaway added 18 points, five in the final 2:19, and grabbed eight rebounds to help offset his seven turnovers. The Suns dominated the boards 44-29.
Jermaine O'Neal scored 25 for the Pacers, who have lost two of their last three -- all on the road. Jamaal Tinsley had 16 points and 10 assists.
Hornets 98, Rockets 96, OT
NEW ORLEANS -- Jamal Mashburn scored 25, Jamaal Magloire added 16 points and 17 rebounds and the New Orleans Hornets improved to 11-0 at home.
Magloire had five points and four rebounds in overtime as the Hornets built a 98-93 lead. David Wesley, who was 0-for-8 for no points in his previous game, scored 19. His second 3-pointer gave New Orleans an 89-87 lead it would not relinquish.
Kenny Thomas came off the bench to lead Houston with a season-high 29 points and 10 rebounds. Steve Francis scored 24 and Yao Ming had 16 points and 13 rebounds.
New Orleans took its biggest lead, 78-69, after Brown hit a pair of free throws early in the fourth quarter, but the Hornets made only two shots from the field for the rest of the period.
Raptors 103, Bulls 89
TORONTO -- Voshon Lenard returned from a three-game absence and scored 14 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter as the Toronto Raptors beat the Chicago Bulls for the 16th straight time.
The Bulls, who have lost nine straight overall, haven't beaten the Raptors since Feb. 28, 1999.
