USA Hockey picks players for tourney
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Yale University sophomore Chris Higgins, the leading scorer on the U.S. National Junior Team two years ago, heads a list of 22 players selected Wednesday for the 2003 team.
The team will compete Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in the World Championship in Nova Scotia, Canada. Lou Vairo is the coach.
