Nov. 30
Domestic violence/warrant: Police arrested an Easy Street man on charges of domestic violence and assault after his wife and stepdaughter alleged he assaulted them and threatened to blow up their residence by holding a lighter to a gas line. Police also discovered he was wanted on a warrant from Middlefield charging him with failure to appear in court to face one count of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Dec. 1
Warrant: While investigating a parking complaint, police arrested an Indiana Avenue man on an outstanding warrant.
Theft/criminal damage: An amplifier, two compact-disc cases and 125 CDs were stolen from a vehicle, which had damage to its passenger-side door lock, dashboard and stereo.
Dec. 2
Breaking and entering/theft: A woman in the 900 block of North Highland Avenue reported someone broke into her daughter's car. A stereo and speakers, a CD holder and 12 CDs were removed.
Possible theft: A woman in the 800 block of Church Hill Road reported she took a diamond ring to Stringer Jewelry of Girard, 54 W. Liberty St., to be repaired and never got it back.
Burglary: A woman in the 700 block of Trumbull Lot called police after she discovered her trailer broken into and a bottle of prescription pills missing.

Threats: A woman in the 700 block of Church Hill Road reported her former boyfriend followed her in his vehicle while she drove, threatened her safety and threatened to abduct their child.

Nov. 26
Auto theft: A 1987 Buick Century was stolen while parked at Gasser Chair Co. Inc., 4136 Logan Way.
Auto theft: A Brookfield man alleged a man interested in purchasing his 1993 Mercury XR7 Cougar took his car for a test drive while the two were at a BP gas station and failed to return the vehicle.
Criminal damaging/theft: A vehicle had its passenger-side window broken while it was parked at TNS Intersearch, 114 E. Liberty St., and an AM/FM CD changer, two 12-inch speakers, an amplifier and another item were removed.
Burglary: Someone pried open a sliding-glass door to an apartment in the 1400 block of Townsend Avenue and stole a diamond engagement ring, several PlayStation games, a videocassette recorder and a bracelet.
Theft: An AM/FM CD player was removed from a vehicle parked in the 10 block of Trumbull Court.
Warrant: A 31-year-old Girard woman was arrested on one count of failure to appear in court to answer various traffic charges.

Warrant: Police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of failure to appear in court.
Theft: A Niles man reported someone stole four kinds of medications from a grocery bag in his car while it was parked at the Econo Lodge, 1615 E. Liberty St.
Assault/robbery: A woman in the 3100 block of Frederick Street reported a man struck her in the head with a pot during an argument, and that he stole $187.50 of her rent money before leaving. The woman also alleged he knocked her to the ground and injured her back when she tried to stop him from taking their daughter.
Burglary: Someone entered a residence in the 1700 block of Wilson Avenue through a kitchen window and stole two TVs.
Theft/criminal damage: Several residents in the 4200 block of Logan Gate Road reported someone broke into their vehicles and removed stereo equipment, amplifiers, several speakers and CD players. One car had its driver's-side window shattered.
Breaking and entering: A woman in the 400 block of Mansell Drive alleged her sister and father forcibly entered her residence without permission.
Nov. 28
Drugs: A 21-year-old Girard woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. She also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse after police conducted a vehicle inventory search and discovered a suspected marijuana pipe, a roach-clip device and a plastic bag with suspected marijuana residue inside the car.

Warrant: After conducting a traffic stop on Colonial Drive, police arrested a 24-year-old Youngstown man on one count of failure to appear in court for having no operator's license.
Theft by deception: A Brookfield woman reported two women approached her after she left Big Lots, 3495 Belmont Ave., claiming to have found a large amount of money in the parking lot, and that the pair tricked her into withdrawing $7,000 from her bank account.
Warrant: Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown woman at Rent-a-Center, 3551 Belmont Ave., on a criminal damage charge.

Burglary: Police arrested two Girard men, ages 37 and 42, on a burglary charge after an employee at Days Inn, 1610 Motor Inn Drive, reported a mounted TV set, a clock radio and a hairdryer stolen from several rooms.
Theft: A Canfield woman reported various pay stubs, receipts and W-2 tax forms stolen from her vehicle while she was having it washed at Big John's Brushless Car Wash, 3657 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A $3,000 statue of Jesus was stolen from the yard of a residence in the 3100 block of Logan Way.
Burglary: An Indianapolis man reported miscellaneous clothing, food and cigarettes stolen from his room while he stayed at the Knights Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive.
Auto theft: A 1986 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight was stolen while parked at Big Lots.
Forgery: An employee at Penguin Check Cashing, 3233 Belmont Ave., reported two men tried to cash two checks totaling $1,686 that were found to be forged.

Warrant: After a woman called police to report someone in a blue vehicle followed her to her residence, police arrested a 30-year-old Youngstown man wanted on a robbery charge.
Theft: An employee at the Lampost Lounge, 2748 Belmont Ave., reported $350 missing as she closed the business.
Theft: An employee at the Knights Inn reported someone removed a 20-inch TV from one of the rooms.
Dec. 2
Theft/criminal damage: A vehicle in the 1200 block of Will-o-Wood Drive had its passenger-side door damaged, and another vehicle had damage to its driver's-side door. An amplifier was removed from one of the cars.
Warrant: A 52-year-old Youngstown man was arrested and charged with failure to appear in court.

Warrant: A Hubbard man was arrested on one count of failure to appear in court to face a theft charge.
Nov. 27
Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Meadowland Drive reported her driver's license stolen from her purse while it was in her vehicle.

Assault: A woman in the 100 block of West Liberty Street reported a man assaulted her.
Nov. 29
Theft: An employee at Bell Wick Bowl, 6105 W. Liberty St., reported bowling balls were stolen from a customer at the business.
Nov. 30
Arrest: After an employee at Taco Bell, 730 W. Liberty St., called police to report a suspected drunken driver in the drive-through, a Hubbard man was arrested and charged with driving under a suspended license.
Theft: An Erie Street resident reported seeing a man stealing a street sign at Erie and Main streets.
Assault: A Warren man reported a man struck him in the face at a residence in the 40 block of Cyrus Avenue.
