Last week: O'Meara won the weekend Skins Game, finishing with eight skins and $405,000. Mickleson ($300,000) was second, followed by Fred Couples ($170,000) and Woods ($125,000). ... Woods won the PGA Grand Slam in Hawaii, finishing with a tournament-record 11-under 61 to win the 36-hole event for the fifth straight time. He had a record 17-under 127 total for a 14-stroke victory over Love and Justin Leonard. ... Ernie Els won the Nedbank Golf Challenge in his native South Africa for the third time in four years, taking the $2 million prize with an eight-stroke victory over Montgomerie.
Notes: The tournament benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation, with Woods donating his prize money to the organization. ... Mickelson is making his first appearance in the event. He will team with Toms next week in the World Cup in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. ... Love won in 2000, closing with a course-record 64 to beat Woods by two strokes. ... The Sherwood name dates to the silent-movie era, with Douglas Fairbanks filming the 1922 movie "Robin Hood" on the scenic property. ... The 16th-place finisher will receive $130,000.

Last year: Scotland's Colin Montgomerie beat Australia's Nathan Green by a stroke, finishing with a 14-under 278 total.
Last week: Australians Peter Lonard and Jarrod Moseley shared the Australian PGA title when darkness forced the suspension of a playoff after one hole.
Notes: Montgomerie is skipping his title defense to play in Tiger Woods' Target World Challenge. ... Tom Watson, the 1984 Australian Open winner, is in the field along with Ty Tryon, Nick Faldo and Australians Adam Scott, Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby and Craig Parry. ... Faldo is playing despite an elbow injury that prompted him to give up his World Cup spot for England alongside Justin Rose. Paul Casey will take Faldo's place next week in Mexico. ... Scott and Parry will represent Australia in the World Cup. ... The tour is off for the next five weeks. Play will resume Jan. 16-19 with the New Zealand Open.
