Nov. 24
Deer destroyed: A deer was killed in an accident with an auto and a second deer was put down by police in a nearby field due to its severe injuries on West Main Street at state Route 446.
Drugs paraphernalia: A 31-year-old Boardman man was arrested on a charge of drug possession after he was stopped on a traffic violation on Main Street. Police found a brown wooden box with suspected marijuana residue in it.

Theft: $2,600 was stolen from a couple in the 70 block of Hilltop Boulevard who reported that a contractor came to their home and agreed to do some work, received a $450 check and never returned. The couple said the additional $2,150 was taken by a check written to their banking account and was found to be missing after the contractor left the home.

Missing pay phone: A pay phone was reported missing from the El Patio Motel, 485 W. Main St.
Theft: A student at Canfield High School reported assorted school books were removed from his locker and the lock was stolen.

Criminal damaging: A possible burglary was reported at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., when an employee found a partially open, broken window in the choir room. No items were missing.

Breaking and entering: A freezer was entered and unknown items taken at Austin Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damage: A window screen was damaged by paint balls in the 700 block of Regal Drive.
Criminal damage: Vinyl siding on two houses in the 6000 block of Fairview Drive were damaged by paintballs.
Theft: Three unknown suspects stole clothing from J.C. Penney Co., 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Ruger .357 revolver and a checkbook were stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Purdue Avenue.

Criminal trespass: A 16-year-old girl was placed in the juvenile justice center for trespassing at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: A construction trailer was broken into at Fort Construction, 5552 Dunlap Ave.
Theft from auto: A citizens band radio was taken from an auto in the parking lot at Green Leaf, 1430 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damage: A paintball damaged a residence in the 70 block of North Turner Road.
Criminal damage: The paint on a vehicle door was scratched at Wal-Mart, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: The front door to a residence was kicked in and jewelry and coins were stolen in the 6000 block of Callaway Circle.

Drug abuse, paraphernalia: A man was arrested on a summons for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at Seventy-Six Drive and State Route 46 and placed in the Mahoning County jail.
Theft: A man was arrested on a theft charge at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $20 in fuel was taken from Certified Oil, 825 Niles-Canfield Road without paying.
Theft from auto: A wallet and coat were taken from a home in the 5000 block of Colgate Drive.
Theft: Fuel was taken from the BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave. without paying.
Theft: Shrimp and meat were stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Money was taken from the front drawer at Benefit Systems, 4148 Mahoning Ave.

Theft from auto: An Ohio license front plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.

Attempted theft from auto: A door lock and a dashboard were damaged in a vehicle in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Warrant: A man was arrested on a Niles warrant for burglary at an apartment in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: A man was arrested on New Road at Orkney Avenue on a Campbell police warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.
Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and Raccoon Road on a charge of receiving a stolen vehicle.
Drug offense: A summons was issued for a male suspect for a drug offense at South Main Street and Elmwood Avenue.

Auto theft: A 1988 Chevrolet cargo van was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Whispering Pines.

Drug offense: A summons was issued for the arrest of a man for possession of marijuana at Kirk Road and South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A man was arrested after a pursuit after he was accused of stealing 13 packs of cigarettes from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Sky Bank ATM card was stolen from an apartment in Fox Run on North Meridian Road.
Lost or stolen property: A man's wallet was reported missing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
