GETTING IT RIGHT
A story in Saturday's editions gave an incorrect title for a Youngstown City Schools' employee. Al Curry serves as the Equal Employment Opportunity Contract Compliance Officer for the district's construction program. He does not work for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Also, Curry said that contractors would not be in violation of district contracts if failing to meet specifications for hiring minorities, women and city residents. They would be in violation, however, if they fail to make a "good-faith effort" to meet those specifications.
