The Penguins dipped to 1-2 following the loss in the First Tennessee Tournament.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Chantelle Anderson's 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Ashley McElhiney's 14 points and 11 assists carried No. 9 Vanderbilt past Youngstown State 91-60 Saturday at the First Tennessee Tournament.
Vanderbilt (3-0) will face the winner of the Central Michigan-Harvard game in today's championship. The Penguins will meet the losers in the consolation game.
The Commodores trailed by a point 2 1/2 minutes into the game, before going on a 15-2 run and taking a 20-8 lead.
From there, they extended the margin steadily, leading 52-26 at halftime and 70-40 eight minutes into the second half.
Can't get close
Barb Fabianova hit a pair of 3-pointers to help Youngstown State (1-2) cut the deficit to 74-50 with nine minutes to play, but Vanderbilt regrouped and led by as many as 33 points in the final minute.
McElhiney scored 11 points in the first half en route to her third career double-double. Anderson has 11 double-doubles.
Vanderbilt had four other players score in double digits: Jenni Benningfield and Ashley Earley with 13 each and Tia Battle and Hillary Hager with 12 apiece.
Fabianova finished with a game-high 20 points (including 6-for-9 on 3-pointers), and Tara Fleming added 12 for Youngstown State.
The Penguins hit on 24 of 65 field goals attempts (36.9 percent) and were 7 of 17 from 3-point range with Fabianova getting six of them. Vanderbilt was red hot from the field hitting on 34 of 62 attempts (54.8 percent) and was 15 of 19 from the foul line and 8 of 19 from 3-point range.
The Commodores also out-rebounded the Penguins 43-25. Fleming led the Penguins with nine.
The Penguins were outscored 44-18 in the paint, 15-7 off turnovers, 12-8 on second-chance points and 15-0 off fast breaks.
YSU, which has now dropped two straight since winning its season opener at Bowling Green, will return home after today's consolation game and meet Robert Morris on Wednesday at Beeghly Center at 7 p.m.
