Srock jubilee is celebrated during cruise

XBERLIN CENTER -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Srock, 15081 Ellsworth Road, was celebrated Nov. 29 during a dinner cruise aboard the Gateway Clipper in Pittsburgh.
Hosts for the celebration were the couple's children, Robin Anderson and William C. Srock, both of Salem; Brian Srock of Berlin Center; and Susan Parry of Diamond. Also participating were their seven grandchildren.
Married Nov. 26, 1952, at the Presbyterian Church on Canfield Road, Youngstown, the couple are members of Berlin Center United Methodist Church. They are also members of Winnebago Campers.
Mrs. Srock was a school-bus driver for Western Reserve Local Schools until retiring in 1992.
Mr. Srock served with the 11th Airborne Division and Army Artillery during the Korean War. He retired in 1996 from East Ohio Machinery in Alliance, where he was a project engineer.
