Southern Columbia blanks Haven

SELINSGROVE, Pa. (AP) -- Brandon Traugh caught a 13-yard TD pass from Mark Wojtowicz and ran for a 1-yard score to lead Southern Columbia to a 28-0 win over Schuylkill Haven, qualifying the team for the PIAA Championship game on Friday.
The win made Southern Columbia (12-2) the PIAA Class A Eastern Champion for the fifth straight season. Schuylkill Haven finished the season at 12-2.
Southern Columbia will play Rochester in the championship on Friday at HersheyPark Stadium.
Traugh's TD catch came with just 13 seconds left in the half to put Southern Columbia up 22-0. Southern Columbia also scored in the first half when fullback Jon Adams recovered a fumble by Wojtowicz in the end zone.
