Parents announce Johnson-Trunick engagement



XThe engagement of Carrie Ann Johnson, 168A Shadyside Drive, Boardman, and William Eugene Trunick Jr., 299 Elm St., Struthers, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of Karen Hoopes, 2329 Clyde St., Poland, and Timothy Johnson, 6325 Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Parents of the future groom are William and Penny Trunick of the Elm Street address.
The couple will exchange marriage vows during a ceremony planned for 11 a.m. Jan. 4 at Struthers Baptist Tabernacle. A reception will be held afterward at Operating Engineers Local 66 District 2 Union Hall in Boardman. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and reception.
Miss Johnson is a photographer and works in sales at J.C.Penney in Boardman. She is attending Youngstown State University.
Mr. Trunick, who served as a specialist in the Ohio Army National Guard, is employed as a land surveyor and crew chief with A.C. Charnas and Associates in Warren. He is attending the University of Akron.
