Whatever Michael Jackson does these days seems to make headlines. This time, it's for saying he doesn't like pop and would much rather listen to classical music, reports Ananova.com.
Jacko was asked why he had bought two classical rather than pop CDs while out shopping in Berlin last week.
The self-styled King of Pop told German magazine Bunte: "I don't like pop music."
The singer, whose album "Thriller" remains the world's biggest-seller, was in Berlin to receive the Millennium Bambi award in recognition of his status as the world's "greatest living pop icon."
Bumped off 'Sopranos,'actor goes to Broadway
NEW YORK -- Joe Pantoliano may feel right at home on Broadway.
The actor, whose character on the HBO show "The Sopranos" was recently retired in a rather violent fashion, is set to make his Broadway debut Jan. 1 in the hit revival of "Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune."
He'll join a mob of "Sopranos" actors on Broadway: Lorraine Bracco has been taking it all off as Mrs. Robinson in "The Graduate," Jamie-Lynn Sigler is the beauty half of "Beauty and the Beast" and Saundra Santiago will appear in the Roundabout's revival of "Nine."
Another "Soprano" cast member, Edie Falco, has been appearing with Stanley Tucci in "Frankie and Johnny" since the show opened in August. She and Tucci leave the show Dec. 29; Falco will be replaced by Rosie Perez.

NEW YORK -- While some rappers focus on pain, Nelly tries to look at the fun.
Nelly, born Cornell Haynes Jr. and raised in inner-city St. Louis, saw plenty of strife in his childhood. When his divorced parents couldn't support him, he abandoned his dream of playing professional baseball and turned to street crime.
But the 24-year-old's music remains light and uplifting.
"People have enough to think about right now," Nelly says in Rolling Stone magazine. "I'm just trying to free their minds and have a little fun with it. I know you got your own problems; I got my own problems. Let's think of something else for a change."
Nelly's 2000 debut album, "Country Grammar," sold more than 8 million copies. His latest, "Nellyville," went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart when it was released earlier this year.
Nelly starred as a gangland rapper immersed in a world of intrigue and murder in the movie "Snipes," which played the festival circuit this year and comes out in video in January.

Elton John has branded Madonna's single "Die Another Day" the worst Bond theme ever, reports London's Sun.
John said movie bosses on the Pierce Brosnan blockbuster would have been better off asking Shirley Bassey, or Sir Elton himself, to record a song instead.
"It hasn't got a tune," John said. "James Bond themes are usually very camp and this one's different. It is the worst Bond tune of all time."
"I don't think it's the best Madonna record -- and I'm a big fan," John added.
John's rant, on the BBC's Liquid News, wasn't over when he was through with Madonna.
The singer went on to rip trendy television.
"I hate reality TV," he said. "I can't watch 'Big Brother' and stuff like that, or 'Survivor.' I've got better things to do with my time."
