XYOUNGSTOWN -- Grand Cayman was the honeymoon destination of Richard Burnett, 165 S. Cadillac Drive, Boardman, and his bride, the former Kara Lynn Saleman, 3147 Paradise Lane, Canfield, who were married Oct. 26 at St. Columba Cathedral.
Monsignor Lawrence Fye officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Saleman of the Paradise Lane address and the son of Margery Burnett of the Cadillac Drive address and Richard D. Burnett of Girard. A reception followed at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
A pleated bodice and pleated trim along the train highlighted the bride's gown of French satin.
Cyndi Meyer, the bride's cousin, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Molly and Katy Burnett, the groom's sisters; Jennifer Weaver; Angela Acierno; and Julie Boone. They wore crimson dresses. Flower girls were Addison Meyer, her cousin, and Carlie Raybuck, his cousin.
Best man was Michael Sahli. Groomsmen were Donnie Raybuck, the groom's cousin; Stephen Smith; Douglas Wolfe; Matthew Green; and Jason Cassidy. Ushers were the bride's cousins, Robert Beyer and James Sprinkle.
Mrs. Burnett is a physical education and health teacher in Girard City Schools. She earned a degree in exercise physiology and teaching at Mount Union College in Alliance.
An elementary art teacher in Salem City Schools, the groom holds a degree from Bethany College in Bethany, W.Va.
They live in Boardman.
