FINANCIAL
YOUNGSTOWN -- Ryan Williams has joined the Butler, Wick & amp; Co. staff of financial advisers in the company's Franklin, Pa., office. An Oil City resident, Williams has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Westminster College and recently completed licensing requirements as a registered securities representative.
DEVELOPMENT
BOARDMAN -- Paula Lombardi, a Boardman native, has been named vice president of development for Davidson Communities, a home builder based in the San Diego, Calif., area. She had been vice president of forward planning and has worked with the company president for more than 14 years.
The former Paula Markovich graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School and moved to California in 1969.
PUBLIC SERVICE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Deborah Liptak is the new development director of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, and has been assigned to find new sources of funding in the face of state budget reductions to libraries. A Boardman resident, she has an associate degree in business from Youngstown State University and has a 17-year history of fund raising and volunteerism in the Mahoning Valley.
She spent four years as a marketing representative at Lanier Business Products.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Stacey Gerhardstein of Youngstown has joined the direct marketing department of Innis Maggiore Group as a senior account coordinator. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University and had worked for Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. as a promotions and advertising coordinator.
HEALTH CARE
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Four new physicians have joined the medical staff at UPMC Horizon hospital.
Dr. Sheila Burick has been appointed with privileges in internal medicine and pediatrics. She has been on the staff at Jameson Memorial Hospital and the former St. Francis Hospital in New Castle since 1998. Dr. Burick earned her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a residency in medicine and pediatrics at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.
Dr. William Prenatt joined the staff with privileges in family practice. He has been in private practice in Grove City, Pa., since 1991, earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a family practice residency at the Medical Center of Beaver in Beaver, Pa.
Dr. Terry Shaffer, on staff with privileges in radiology, had been president of the Lawrence County Radiology Associates and director of the department of medical imaging at Jameson Memorial. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Sherif Soliman joined the hospital with privileges in nephrology. He had been an attending nephrologist at the Cairo Kidney Center and also works with the Northeast Ohio Kidney Group in Youngstown. He completed a nephrology fellowship at Allegheny University Hospitals in Pittsburgh and did an internal medicine residency at Forum Health/Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown.
BOARDMAN -- Alice Connelly of Hubbard has joined the Boardman campus of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Homes as a clinical dietitian. Connelly had been a corporate dietitian for Windsor House. She has bachelor's and associate degrees in applied science, both from Youngstown State University.
CALL CENTERS
AKRON -- InfoCision Management Corp. has promoted Anthony Ciavarella of Boardman to program supervisor in its New Castle, Pa., financial call center. Ciavarella joined the company a year ago as a communicator and has also been a trainer.
