DAYTON -- Seth Doliboa scored 18 points, and Vernard Hollins put up 17 more to lead Wright State to a 51-48 win over Miami, Ohio.
Wright State (3-0) grabbed hold of the lead 37 seconds into the game with a 3-pointer from Doliboa and held onto it until Miami (1-3) went up 37-38 with 9:07 left in the game on a layup from Matt Jameson.
The Raiders led 27-21 at the half. The RedHawks outscored them 27-to-24 in the second half but it wasn't enough.
Wright State shot 36 percent from the field and made six of 15 3-point attempts.
Juby Johnson had 16 points for Miami, making three of four 3-point attempts. Chet Mason added another 13, including five of six at the free-throw line.
Miami made 14-of-16 free throws and shot nearly 39 percent from the field.
