COLUMBIANA -- Units are welcome to participate in the parade that helps kick off the 116th annual Columbiana Street Fair on Thursday.
The fair begins on Main Street at 5:30 p.m. with the parade at 6:30 p.m. Parade participants must register at least one hour before the start of the parade, according to Dave Reash of Benjamin Firestone American Legion Post 290, which sponsors the fair.
Roads closed for event
YOUNGSTOWN -- The following drives in Mill Creek Park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Saturday for the Community Cup: Bears Den Drive, West Glacier Drive, New Cross Drive and West Park Drive. All parking for the Community Cup will be at Wick Recreation Area at Belle Vista Avenue and McCollum Road.
