New Castle's Pat Cain is top receiver for Gannon Knights

ERIE, Pa. -- Pat Cain of New Castle, a junior tight end for the Gannon University football team, returns to the Knights as the team's top receiver.
Cain (6-4, 235), a graduate of New Castle High and a 1999 transfer to Gannon from Toledo, led Gannon in pass catches last year with 25 for 336 yards and a 13.4-yard average, helping the team to a 5-4 record.
He also tied a school record for TD receptions in one game with three against Merrimack, and finished with four for the season.
