Monique Nattin, Bradley Slaven are engaged



YOUNGSTOWN -- The engagement of Monique Allyson Nattin, 4831 Forest Meadows Court, Cincinnati, and Bradley Edward Slaven, 3435 Telford St., Cincinnati, is being announced by his mother, Rita Slaven, 3879 Robert Frost Drive.
The bride-elect, a daughter of Lydia Nattin, 4895 Orlando Road, Cincinnati, and the late Nathan Nattin, is a physician with Forest Hills Pediatrics in Cincinnati. She graduated from Emory University in Atlanta with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned her doctor of medicine degree ay the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
The groom, also a son of the late Edward Slaven, graduated from Pennsylvania and Youngstown state universities and earned a master's degree in computer science and biotechnology at John Hopkins University in Baltimore. He is a senior research associate with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Invitations will be extended for their Oct. 26 wedding to be held at 2:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and for their reception at Holiday Inn-Eastgate, both in Cincinnati.
