JOANNA MALMISURSAMUEL OLIVER
CANFIELD -- Joanna Malmisur of Canfield and Samuel Oliver of Boardman were married at 1:30 p.m. July 27 at St. Michael Church. The Rev. Terrence Hazel officiated for the daughter of Michael and Karen Malmisur, 527 Rellim Drive, Kent, and son of Beatrice Oliver, 1605 Thalia Ave., Youngstown, and the late Albert Oliver.
A reception was held at Tippecanoe Country Club, and the couple spent their honeymoon in California. They are living in Canfield.
The bride wore an ivory gown of dulciana satin designed with an off-the-shoulder scalloped neckline trimmed with embroidered soutach & eacute; and Venise lace. The skirt flowed to a semicathedral train.
Her sister, Kristin Jacobs, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Marty Hyden, her cousin, and Debra Shovlin. They wore ivory gowns. Flower girl was the groom's daughter, Rachel Oliver.
Jeff Wiscott performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Joseph Oliver, the groom's brother, and Gary Wollet. Patrick Hyden, the bride's cousin, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Oliver graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and holds a juris doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. She is a staff attorney with the Mahoning County Child Support Enforcement Agency in Youngstown.
Her husband is a deputy in the detective division of the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department and is a part-time police officer with the Coitsvile Police Department and the Youngstown State University Police Department.
