Guerrieros will mark 50th at buffet reception

BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. James Guerriero of Boardman will be honored Sept. 1 at a buffet reception at Antone's Banquet Centre in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary. Invitations for the event have been extended by the couple's daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Bill Geidner of Boardman. The couple also have a son and daughter-in-law, James and Kelly Guerriero of Columbiana, and two grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Guerriero and the former Shirley Barker were married Sept. 13, 1952, at Grace Methodist Church in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired in 1985 from LTV Steel Corp. in Youngstown, where he was foreman of the roll shops.
His wife is a homemaker and has volunteered for many community, school and church organizations.
The couple are members of Boardman United Methodist Church.
