YOUNGSTOWN -- Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Women's Day at 11 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Evelyn Burton, wife of the Rev. Ralph Burton, pastor of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Struthers.
School suppliesto be distributed
YOUNGSTOWN -- A school supply giveaway has been scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday. This fifth annual event is sponsored by Third Baptist Church and will be at 1177 Parkhill Drive. Any Youngstown pupil in a public or private school can attend.
Last year more than 1,200 items were donated by the congregation of the church. This year, donations have also been received from individuals in the community. Supplies will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Overnight program
LIBERTY -- Evangelist Darlene Waller, founder and director of Fly Wounded Bird Fly -- Don't Die, will be the featured speaker at an overnight program at Days Inn from 6 p.m. Sept. 13 and 4 p.m. Sept. 14.
The theme is "Mission Accomplished." The cost is $50; a $25 deposit was due Friday and final payment of $25 is due Sept. 6. No walk-in participants will be admitted. Send checks made payable to Can You Hang, P.O. Box 1861, Youngstown, Ohio 44501. Call (330) 788-4496.
25th anniversary
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Bill Rudge Ministries is marking its 25th year this month of a ministry that started in 1977 in Sharon and grew into a multifaceted international outreach based in Hermitage, Pa.

1st sermon to be given
YOUNGSTOWN -- Robinette Clark, who was called to ministry in September 1999, will deliver her first public sermon at the 6 p.m. service Sunday in New Jerusalem Fellowship Church. Ms. Clark serves under the leadership of Pastors Alton and Linda Merrell at the church.
Christ Church events
YOUNGSTOWN -- Christ Church Presbyterian is hosting two programs, including "Worship On the Lawn," at 11 a.m. Sunday. A picnic dinner will be provided after the service that will feature Southern gospel music by Loren Coler.
Also, the church will have a satellite seminar from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. The topic will be "Leadership: Building Your Dream Team."

Conference set
WARREN -- A "Deliverance: Breaking the Limitations" conference at First Assembly of God will feature Apostle Lafayette Scales of Columbus, Apostle Everett Whiteside of Warren and Prophet Leon Forte of Athens, Ohio and will be hosted by Apostle Reginald and Pastor Judy Ray.
The schedule is: U Sept. 5: 6 p.m. registration and Apostle Kim Daniels at 7:30.U Sept. 6: Intercessory prayer and prophetic workshop at 8 a.m., prophetess Sandy Burkett at 9, Forte at 10:30, Daniels at 2 p.m., and Scales at 7.U Sept. 7: Intercession and prophetic workshop at 8 a.m.; Whiteside at 9, Apostle Reggie Ray at 10:30, personal ministry at 2 p.m., and Forte at 3:30.
