YOUNGSTOWN - A honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, followed the July 20 wedding of Julie Cavallaro and Michael Pedro, both of 321 Forest Hill Road, Austintown, which took place at Trinity United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple were honored afterward during a reception at the Italian-American Veterans Centre.
The bride is a daughter of Debbie Burgos, 15335 Mahoning Ave., Diamond, and Ed Cavallaro, 114 Benton Ave., Austintown. The groom is a son of James and Marilyn Pedro of North Jackson.
Pearls, bugle beads and sequins adorned the bodice of the bride's sleeveless, white satin gown. Crisscross straps and a cathedral train added back interest.
Black and white gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Marcie Wheeler, and the bridesmaids, Christina Moss, Kerry Blankschaen, Patty Mihalick and Kristy Long. Flower girls were the groom's cousin, Lindsay Pedro, and the bride's cousin, Amanda Sarro.
Serving as best man was Tom Hopkinson, and groomsmen were Jeremy Haynie, Nick Noday, Eric Wheeler and Allen Wheeler. Ring bearer was Allen Wheeler Jr.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and is a server at Lone Star in Boardman.
The groom, a pipefitter apprentice with Commercial Piping Co., holds an associate degree in computer-aided drafting technology from ITT Technical Institute.
The couple live at the Forest Hill Road address.
