AUXILIARIES
XMahoning County Council Auxiliary to the VFW will meet at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at VFW 9571, 11397 Ellsworth Road, Ellsworth. The meeting planned for Sept. 5 has been canceled. Members should take nonperishable items for Youngstown Veterans Administration Clinic.
CLUBS
X"Monuments, Memories and Milestones of France" will be the program when Ohio Cultural Alliance holds a dinner meeting of at 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at Sacred Heart Polish National Church, 702 Cameron Ave., Youngstown. Dr. Paul Dalbec, Youngstown State University professor emeritus and member of Le Cercle Francais, will speak. A woodwind trio, led by Dr. Tedrow Perkins, will perform. The cost is $11 for paid members and $15 for nonmembers. Annual membership is $20. To make a reservation send a check payable to the Ohio Cultural Alliance, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, Ohio 44406-0561. Reservations must be made by Sept. 5.
XYoungstown After 5 Club will hold a dinner from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 9 at Theodore's Banquet Centre in Mineral Ridge. The theme will be "What's Buggin' You?" with Jeannifer Ebaugh as speaker and music by Anna Francisco. There also will be a special feature by Grace Services Inc. Pest Control. Reservations for dinner and/or child care must be made by Sept. 5 by calling (330) 799-0679.
