ABWA chapter awards scholarship

WARREN -- The presentation of a scholarship was a highlight of a meeting of Warren Charter Chapter, American Business Women's Association, held Aug. 6 at the Golden Gate Restaurant, 2186 Parkman Road.
Dawn Schrock was the recipient of a $1,200 scholarship from the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund.
Ms. Schrock is pursuing a bachelor's degree in elementary education at Youngstown State University in preparation for a career as a kindergarten teacher. She is a member of Omicron Delta Society and Gold Key and Kappa Delta Pi national honor societies, and has been on the dean's list for the past six semesters.
