Bruce Beeghly, Dan Ryan to be honored by chamber

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will honor Bruce Beeghly, president of Altronic, and longtime talk show host Dan Ryan at its Salute To Business breakfast Aug. 29.
Beeghly has been chosen as business professional of the year.
Girard-based Altronic designs and manufactures ignition systems that are used in stationary, natural gas and industrial engines worldwide.
Ryan, whose morning program is on WKBN, was chosen as the business advocate of the year for being a backer of business growth and economic development.
Also, Judge Thomas Swift of Trumbull County Probate Court will receive the Chairman's Political Achievement Award.
State Auditor Jim Petro will speak at the breakfast, which is at 7:30 a.m. at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. Cost is $15 for chamber members and $25 for others. Call the chamber for reservations.
