Several area high school bands have scheduled performances to show off their talents. Here's the list as submitted to The Vindicator:
MAHONING
Canfield: 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at Canfield High School, six bands; adults, $5; senior citizens and students, $4; preschool and younger, free.
Austintown: 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Fitch High School, six bands; adults, $5; students, $4; senior citizens, free.
TRUMBULL
Hubbard: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard Memorial Stadium, six bands; adults, $5; students and senior citizens, $3.
Champion: 7 p.m. Thursday at Champion High School, six bands; adults, $5; preschool-12th grade, $3.
Niles: 7 p.m. Thursday at Bo Rein Memorial Stadium, six bands; adults, $4; seniors, $3; students, $2.
Mineral Ridge: 7 p.m. Saturday at Joe Lane Sports Complex, six bands; adults, $5; students and senior citizens, $3.50.
Liberty: 7 p.m. Sept. 4 at Liberty High School, six bands; adults, $5; children and students, $3; children 3 and under and senior citizens, free.
Cortland: 7 p.m. Monday at Lakeview High School's Don Richards Stadium. Advance tickets -- adults, $4; senior citizens and students under 18, $2 -- are available at Daybreak Music and Hopkins Pharmacy. Tickets at the gate, $5 for adults; senior citizens and students under 18, $3.
MERCER
Grove City: 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Grove City Area High School athletic field; five bands; adults, $4; students and senior citizens, $2; children under 5, free.
