HUBBARD -- Shanna Colleen Glenellen, daughter of John and Terri Glenellen, 166 Fair Meadow Drive, Youngstown, became the bride of Matthew John Murphy, son of James and Virginia Murphy, 682 Saul Drive, during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 27 at St. Patrick Church.
The Rev. Robert Miller officiated, and a reception was held at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
The couple honeymooned on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico and are living at 245 Caroline Ave.
Fashioned of white satin, the bride's sleeveless A-line gown featured a sweetheart neckline detailed with beading. The skirt fell to a semicathedral train.
The bride's cousin, Katie Gries, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Kerrie Gries, her cousin, and Stephanie Koval, Holly Gosnell, Rebekah Metts and Melanie Williamson. They wore lilac gowns.
Mark McAllen, the groom's nephew, served as best man, and groomsmen were Matthew Glenellen, the bride's brother; Eric Beamish; John Shwartz; Justin Beasley; and John Angelo.
The bride is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Champion Middle School.
Her husband attended YSU and is a sales representative with Donnell Ford in Youngstown.
