Bayer gets Eagle award
Josh Bayer, son of Frank and Dulce Bayer of Brookfield, has received his Eagle Scout award, Boy Scouting's highest honor.
Bayer is a junior assistant scoutmaster and has had the offices of senior patrol leader, patrol leader, troop guide, scribe and quartermaster. He has earned 38 merit badges.
For his Eagle project, he cut grapevines from trees at the Brookfield Conservation Club. These vines are parasites to the trees to which they attach themselves.
He is a member of St. Bernadette Church in Masury, and will be a senior at Brookfield High School this fall.
DOCTOR
Jibotian is pharmacist
Charles Marshall Jibotian, son of John J. and Linda Rae Jibotian of Central Parkway in Warren, recently received a doctor of pharmacy degree from Ohio State University.
Dr. Jibotian is a graduate of Warren Christian School and received a degree in biology from Grove City College. He lives and will be working in the Columbus area.

Graban receives degree
Amy Graban, formerly of Lowellville, has received her doctor of philosophy degree in mass communication from Florida State University.
Graban is an assistant professor of communication arts at Indiana University, Kokomo, Ind., where she teaches courses in broadcasting, video production and film.
She is a graduate of Villa Maria High School. She is the daughter of Emil Graban and the late Veronica Graban of Lowellville.
