YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Lauren Rachel Mohney and Alvin Edward Perrotta, both of Boardman, took place at 2:30 p.m. July 20 at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Garden, and a reception was held afterward at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center, both in Mill Creek Park.
The Revs. David Perkins and Bruce Stryffeler presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Mary Ann and Neil Mohney, 7409 Ranier Trail, Boardman, and the son of Mary Jean and Ralph Perrotta, 175 Maple Drive, Boardman.
The bride's ivory crocheted silk and chiffon gown was complemented with a crystal and white-gold necklace she designed.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by Leah Marasco, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jeannette Conley, Shelly Perrotta, Dr. Yvette Conley, Patricia VanFossan and Sherry Wykstra. Junior bridesmaids were Mary Conley, Beth Ann Mohney and Amanda VanFossan, who wore banana-colored gowns, and the flower girl was Kelley Mohney in an ivory gown.
Best man was William Miketa, and groomsmen were Scott Stenglien, John Perrotta, Tom Rine, James Perrotta and David Nicholas. Ring bearers were Rene & eacute; Mohney, who wore and ivory gown, and Dylan Wolford.
The bride is the co-owner of Gallery on the Glen in Boardman. The groom is a plant operator with Mahoning County Sanitary Engineers in Mineral Ridge.
The couple honeymooned at Mackinac Island, Mich., Toronto and Niagara Falls.They live at 48 Willow Drive, Boardman
