BOARDMAN -- Good Hope Lutheran Church was the setting at 3 p.m. Aug. 17 as marriage vows were exchanged by Laura Elizabeth Hazel and David Michael Terlesky.
Parents of the bride are Robert and Cynthia Hazel, and the groom is a son of William and Nancy Terlesky. All are of Boardman.
The Rev. Robert Quaintance officiated, and a reception took place at Mr. Anthony's.
After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple will live in Dublin.
The bride wore a white strapless gown of mikado silk fashioned with a fitted bodice and dropped waist. The skirt fell to a chapel train, and a pearl headpiece held her cathedral veil.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Passella, and bridesmaids were Rose Barkett and Carol Cafaro, the bride's cousins, and Laura Ciminero, Tricia DeFelice, Nikki Memmelaar, Danielle Santor and Kris Swiger. They wore ice-blue gowns.
William Terlesky performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Michael Ambrose; Jugdeep Bal; Brian Bautsch; Robert Hazel, the bride's brother; Kyle Gephart; Stephen Maszczak; and Michael Passella.
Mrs. Terlesky graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. She is a social-studies teacher at Marysville High School and is pursuing a master's degree in school counseling at the University of Dayton.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio University and is a market analyst at Cardinal Health in Dublin.
