Clines to renew marriage vows during anniversary celebration

GLENMONT-- The Rev. and Mrs. Jim Cline of Glenmont will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 1 at Zion Lutheran Church, Danville, where they will renew their marriage vows during a 2 p.m. service. A reception will follow in the church social hall.
The former Hazel Steiner and the Rev. Cline were married Oct. 26, 1952, at the church.
The Rev. Cline was pastor of St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Massillon from 1967 to 1988, Faith Lutheran Church in Millersburg from 1988 to 1992, and St. John Lutheran Church in Petersburg from 1992 until retiring in June 1997.
Mrs. Cline was a secretary, bookkeeper and Welcome Wagon hostess for several years.
The couple's children and their spouses are Yvonne and Rick Brown of Columbus, Brenda and Steven Parker of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Rodney Cline of Bozeman, Mont. They also have four grandchildren.
The Clines spend their summers at their farm near Greer and winters in Scottsdale, Ariz.
