CANFIELD -- Lynn M. Shuttleworth and Douglas M. Shodd Jr. were married at 1:30 p.m. July 13 at St. Michael Church with the Rev. Terry Hazel officiating.
Parents of the newlyweds are Robert and Karen Shuttleworth, 54 Neff Drive, and Douglas Sr. and Mary Shodd, 2672 Coblentz Drive, Poland.
A reception followed at the Maronite Center in Youngstown. The couple honeymooned at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and are living at 27 Como St., Struthers.
A white princess-style gown of satin organza was worn by the bride. It was designed with spaghetti straps and was trimmed with bugle beads and embroidery.
Maids of honor were Heather Van Sickle and the bride's sister, Ashley Shuttleworth. They wore periwinkle gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Angela Shodd, the groom's sister; Theresa Agostinelli; Melanie Sonntag, his cousin; and Jennifer Macioge. Ali and Sierra Macioge were flower girls.
Duties of best man were performed by the groom's brothers, Chris and Jason Shodd, and groomsmen were Nick Clinkscale; Bob Shuttleworth, the bride's brother; Jeff Sonntag and Chad Macioge.
A cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education, Mrs. Shodd is a physical-education teacher with South Range Local Schools in North Lima.
Her husband graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration from YSU. He is manager of Youngstown College of Massotherapy in Struthers.
