BOARDMAN -- Joseph Shawn Lisi, 632 St. Andrews Drive, Canfield, and his bride, the former Lori Ann Palkovic, 4108 Claridge Drive, Austintown, accepted congratulations July 13 during a reception in the ballroom at Mahoning Country Club in Girard after their wedding at Boardman Christian Church.
The Rev. James Schimmel solemnized the ceremony at 2 p.m.
They honeymooned in Aruba and live at the groom's address.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Cheryl Palkovic of the Claridge Drive address and Theodore and Cheri Lisi, 12629 Goshen Road, Salem.
The bride's strapless, A-line satin gown was adorned with beading and featured a chapel train.
Honor attendants were Christine Palkovic and Sherry Rutter, sisters of the bride. They wore lilac gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Jennifer Moretti, Reitha Phillips, Kerri Gillie, Kate Foley, Abbi Blyer and Cheryl Michaelski.
The groom's brothers, John and Theodore Lisi, shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were David and William Adams, also his brothers; William and Robert Young, his cousins; William Palkovic, the bride's brother; and Jeffery Grove.
The bride a licensed practical nurse at Camelot Arms Care Center, Youngstown, graduated from Choffin School of Practical Nursing, Youngstown.
The groom holds a degree in criminal justice-psychology from Kent State University. He is an intensive-supervision probation officer with Columbiana County Adult Probation Department.
