Babe Ruth All-Stars beat Jefferson, 11-9

ABBEVILLE, La. -- The Youngstown Babe Ruth 13-year-old All Star team defeated Jefferson Parish (La.) 11-9 in the Babe Ruth World Series Wednesday.
Mike Olenych went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in for Youngstown, which bowed out of pool play with a 1-3 record.
Gary Collins went 2-for-4 with four RBIs, while Tony Brunetti went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Youngstown scored five runs in the first inning, while Collins hit a three-run home run in the third.
Nick Turco worked four innings, allowed three runs, four hits and struck out two to pick up the win.
