Lupu-Smesko engagement is announced

CANFIELD -- Announcing their engagement are Andrea Lupu and Dr. Mark Smesko, both of 4097 Timberbrook Drive.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Joyce Lupu, 150 Carolyn Ave., Cortland, and David Lupu, 117 Diamond Way, Cortland. Dr. Smesko is a son of John and Phyllis Smesko, 2710 Burbank Ave., Youngstown.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 14 at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown and for a reception that evening at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Miss Lupu is a database analyst with Dominion East Ohio Gas in Independence.
Her fiance holds a bachelor's degree in biology from YSU and graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He is a podiatrist in private practice with Ankle & amp; Foot Care Centers in Boardman.
