Parents announce Kneen-Hartings wedding plans

CHICAGO -- Plans for the upcoming marriage of Erika Jane Kneen, 724 W. Irving Park Road, and Matthew Robert Hartings, 700 W. Bittersweet Place, are being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Dr. Timothy and Linda Kneen, 488 Greenmont Drive, Canfield, and the future groom is a son of Robert and Lois Hartings, 10290 N. Reece Road, Piqua.
St. Michael Church in Canfield will be the setting at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 for the couple's open wedding. Invitations will be issued for an early evening reception at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.
Miss Kneen and her fiance graduated from the University of Dayton with bachelor's degrees, hers in communications and his in physics-chemistry.
Mr. Hartings is a graduate research assistant in the doctorate program in chemistry at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. His fiancee is a public-relations manager with Newberry Library of the Arts and Humanities.
