YOUNGSTOWN -- Crime Stoppers of Greater Youngstown is having a gigantic garage sale and Chinese auction fund-raiser from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at St. Dominic Parish Center, 3403 Southern Blvd.
Postal service reveals Andy Warhol stamp
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- The U.S. Postal Service has unveiled its Andy Warhol stamp.
A special-edition panel of 20 stamps was made available Friday at the Andy Warhol Museum on the city's North Side.
Warhol, born here in 1928, reflected American pop culture, using celebrities and common objects such as Campbell's Soup cans in his art. A quote on the stamp book reads, "If you want to know all about Andy Warhol, just look at the surface of my paintings and films and me, and there I am. There's nothing behind it."
