Romitos mark golden jubilee during recent trip

POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Romito, 5852 Poland-Struthers Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a family vacation July 6-13 to Oak Island, N.C.
Traveling with them to observe the occasion were their children, Debbie and Donald Skowron of North Lima; Barb and Frank Kata of Greenville, N.C.; and Joseph Romito of Boardman and his fiancee, Lenny Struharik of Campbell. Also participating were the couple's seven grandchildren.
Mr. Romito and the former Mary Alice Poppineau were married July 12, 1952, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany.
The Romitos retired in 1992 from SKF in Austintown.
