BATON ROUGE, LA. -- Nicole Landry and Richard L. Younger were married July 13 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Monsignor Robert Bergreen officiated and was assisted by the Rev. Reinhold Krone, pastor of Petersburg Presbyterian Church.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Landry of Baton Rouge, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Younger of New Middletown.
The honor attendant was Rhonda Morgan, and bridesmaids were Holly Hatzis; Meg Gough; Susan Bender and Liz Weingart, sisters of the groom; and Tanya Laurent, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Madison Bender and Hannah Weingart, nieces of the groom. The miniature bride was Joli David.
The duties of best man were performed by Jim Vivo, and groomsmen were Matt McKinney; Dan Bender and Curt Weingart, the groom's brothers-in-law; and Barrett and Andrew Landry, brothers of the bride. Ring bearer with Cole Sundem.
After a reception at the White Oak Plantation, the couple honeymooned in Hawaii. A postnuptial garden reception was held July 27 at the Bender home in Petersburg.
The Youngers live in Gilbert, Ariz.
The bride, a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, is a neonatal nurse at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa, Ariz., and is pursuing a nurse practitioner degree at Arizona State University.
The groom holds a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and is a marketing manager for Alltel Communications, Southwest Region.
