YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Nicole Marie Carvell and Jason Aaron Hagerty took place at 2 p.m. July 13 at St. Christine Church. The Rev. David Rhodes officiated.
A reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center for the daughter of Merv and Michele Carvell, Boardman, and the son of Jim and Joann Hagerty, Youngstown. After a trip to Aruba they are living in Poland.
An ivory satin gown with a tank-style bodice was worn by the bride. It was adorned with crystals and pearls, and the box-pleated skirt had a chapel train.
Honor attendants were her sister, Erin Carvell, and Katie Conricote. They wore riviera-blue gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Sara Zetts, Linda Stucky, Krystal Quinn, Kerri Johnson and the groom's cousin, Brittney Jones. Flower girls were Jessica and Amy Dutko. They wore ivory gowns.
James Jr. and Daniel Hagerty, the groom's brothers, shared duties of best man, and groomsmen were Chris Carvell, the bride's brother; Bryan Ziak, her cousin; Robert Harvey; Anthony Perfilio; and the groom's cousin, Steve Cochran. David Dutko was ring bearer.
Mrs. Hagerty holds a degree in special education from Youngstown State University and will be a teacher this fall at Robinwood Lane Elementary School, Boardman. She is head volleyball coach at Cardinal Mooney High School.
Her husband graduated from YSU with a degree in history and is an insurance agent with Able-Kernan Nationwide Insurance in Boardman. He is head football coach at Volney Rogers Junior High School.
