Friends of library to hold annual sale

BOARDMAN -- Friends of the Boardman Library will hold their annual used book sale Aug. 21-24 at the library, 7680 Glenwood Ave.
A special preview for members will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21, during which new members may join or make a $5 donation.
Hours for the general public will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 23 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 24, which also will be $2-per-bag day.
There also will be a silent auction on several special books. The auction will run from 6 p.m. Aug. 21 to 6 p.m. Aug. 22.
Proceeds from the sale are used to support the children and teen programs and to purchase materials and equipment.
