The Youngstown Bowling Assn. -- office at 7255 Glendale will be the site of sessions for league secretaries this week at 7 p.m. The schedule for both men's and mixed leagues to pick up supplies and learn about changes is as follows: August 12 (for Amron and A-Plus); August 13 (for Bell-Wick and Boardman); August 14 (for Camelot and Kay); August 15 (for Holiday and Bowladrome); August 16 (for Wedgewood and West Side).

Ursuline High School -- will hold its annual fall sports corn roast on Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Maronite Center pavilion.
FOOTBALL
Austintown Fitch High -- Season tickets for previous season ticket holders will go on sale Aug. 12-15 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the South Circle Ticket Office at Fitch. For those who have not purchased them in the past, season tickets will be sold Aug. 19-22 from 6-7:30 p.m. The price of each season ticket package is $30. GOLF
Poland High -- boys team will hold tryouts Tuesday and Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Copeland Hills course in Columbiana, coach Dave DiGiacomo announced. Candidates should be at the course by 12:30.
SOFTBALL
Greater Mah./Trum./Col. -- leagues for Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties are being formed for men's, women's and coed teams. Play begins Aug. 31. Call 782-6707, 530-2276 or 793-6582.

The Mahoning Valley Officials Assn. -- will hold a local rules meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at McDonald's Restaurant in Canfield and on Aug. 13 at Boardman High School at 5:30. A mandatory state rules meeting for all coaches and officials will be Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Salem High School.
