CAMPBELL -- The Rev. Michael Swierz officiated at 6 p.m. July 6 at St. Joseph the Provider Church for the wedding of Annette I. Torres and John Tovarnak.
Parents of the bride are Evelyn Torres of Campbell and Edwin Torres Sr. of Boardman. Mr. Tovarnak is a son of Robert and Barbara Tovarnak of Campbell.
A reception was held at St. Nicholas Center in Youngstown, and the couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise.
They are living in Campbell.
The bride wore a strapless gown detailed with lilac daisies.
Her sister, Lissette Torres, was maid of honor. She wore a lilac gown, as did the bridesmaids, Lisa Collins, the groom's sister; Jessica Torres, Cristina Aleman and Amanda Gonzalez, the bride's cousins; Suzanne Perry; Chrissy Waring; Ava DiRienzo; and Jami Camardo and Samantha Martauz, the groom's cousins. Janna Jackson was flower girl.
Best man was the groom's brother, Joe Tovarnak, and groomsmen were Edwin Torres Jr., the bride's brother; Cristian Aleman, her cousin; Craig DiRienzo; Philip Martauz, the groom's cousin; John Ortiz; Jason Laverniuck; Bobby Levonyak; Danny Szenborn; and Mark Rudiak. Ring bearer was Ian Sewell.
Mrs. Tovarnak is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education. She is a fourth-grade teacher with the Campbell City Schools.
Her husband attended YSU and is manager of Sam's Club in Boardman.
