AMANDA DUNNINGDEAN CONGEMI
CANFIELD -- Hawaii and Las Vegas were the honeymoon destinations of Dean Congemi of Boardman and his bride, the former Amanda Dunning of North Lima, who were married at 1:30 p.m. July 6 at Old North Church.
The Rev. Brent Allen officiated for the daughter of Gene Dunning of North Lima and Val Verhage of Poland and the son of Tony Congemi and Linda Congemi, both of Boardman.
A reception was held at The Georgetown in Boardman.
Sequins adorned the bride's tank-style dress of white satin fashioned with a cathedral train.
Honor attendant was Shannon O'Brien. Bridesmaids were Melanie Stitt, the groom's sister; Holly Thiesler and Erica Verhage, the bride's sisters; Jeanine Vermillon and Gina Sanders, his cousins; Tracy Cortese; Traci Pondillo; and Jodi Haefke. They wore Victorian-lilac dresses. Junior bridesmaids were Lauren and Katie Congemi, the groom's sisters, and flower girl was Cassandra Stitt, his niece.
Dale Kushma served as best man. Groomsmen were Jim Stitt, the groom's brother-in-law; John and Dominic Congemi, his cousins; Wayne Dunning, the bride's brother; Bruce Parker; Sean Kushma, Jim Cortese; Jerry Barnett; and Dave Burnbrier. Ring bearer was Preston Stitt, his nephew.
Mrs. Congemi is a supervisor at Home Savings and Loan in Poland. She is attending Youngstown State University. A graduate of YSU with a bachelor's degree, Mr. Congemi is a surgical sales representative with Johnson and Johnson, Norwood, Mass.
They live in Boardman.
