1-car accident kills 2 teens, hurts 3 others



BERLIN CENTER -- Two teen-agers died and three others were injured in a one-vehicle accident Saturday.
Christopher Daniels, 18, and Chasmine Jones, 19, both of Alliance, were killed when the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix they were in went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and caught fire, according to reports from the Canfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at 5:21 p.m. on Berlin Station Road, just east of Bedell Road.
Daniels was the driver; Jones was seated in the middle in the rear seat, reports show.
The other passengers, Cyle Green and Zachary Rogers, both 17, and Daron Taylor, 16, all of Alliance, were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, but their conditions were not immediately available.
