MELISSA SNITZERRYAN MCTIGUE
BOARDMAN -- First Covenant Church was the setting at 3 p.m. July 20 for the wedding of Melissa Snitzer and Ryan McTigue.
Parents of the bride are Marie and William Martin, 3852 Cumberland Drive, Austintown, and Edward Snitzer, 12150 Ellsworth Road, North Jackson. Mr. McTigue is a son of Vicki and P. Breen McTigue, 469 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland.
The Rev. Thomas Sharkey officiated, and a reception took place at St. Lucy Church hall in Campbell.
After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the couple are living in San Diego, Calif.
Fashioned of white satin, the bride's gown was designed with a V-neckline and cap sleeves and was enhanced with iridescent pearls and embroidery. The full skirt extended to a cathedral train.
Heather Snitzer, the bride's sister, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Liz Haddle; Alice Rafeedie; Jessica Polkabla, the bride's cousin; Jessica Martin, her stepsister; Jolene Nagle, her cousin; and Erin McTigue, the groom's sister.
Best man was Matt Nackino, and serving as groomsmen were Scott Lathom; Luke Pecchia; J.J. Armitage; Patrick McTigue, the groom's brother; Cody Duran; and Rick Gozur, the bride's cousin.
Mrs. McTigue is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in early childhood education.
Her husband is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
