ASSOCIATIONS
XO-My-O Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Great China Buffet, Market Street, Boardman. The dinner will cost $11.50. The program will be a tai chi demonstration.

XYoungstown Area Tropical Fish Society will meet for a "Whale of a Show" Aug. 17-18 at Local 1714 Union Hall in Lordstown. Registration will be from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 17. XAmerican Cancer Society will sponsor it annual "Celebrate Life" picnic from 2 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Craig Beach for cancer patients and their families. Reservations are required and limited; call (877) 700-4647.
XHUGS (Help Us Grow Stronger, a support and resource group for families of children with special needs) will have a picnic from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 17 at Howland Township Park's Lake Pavilion by Tiger Town.
