CANFIELD -- The area of Canfield Township that receives water from the city of Youngstown is suffering extreme low pressure readings, city water department officials say. The affected area involves residences bordered by Tippecanoe Road, the Ohio Turnpike, state Route 11 and the northern border of the township.
To alleviate the low-pressure problems, water customers are being asked to water their lawns only from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
Appreciating seniors
NILES -- The Day Camp at the Eastwood YMCA in Niles is sponsoring a Senior Appreciation Day on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
The seniors attend classes Tuesdays and Thursdays for stretching, strengthening, range of motion and aerobic sessions.
The day will include a lunch provided by the Day Camp.
