Area youths sing in state fair's choir



YOUNGSTOWN -- Several area teenagers are singing in the 200-member All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir at the Ohio State Fair, which began Friday and runs through Aug. 17.
The choir's show, "Let Freedom Ring!," is a musical salute to America that will feature popular songs from the past four decades. The theme also celebrates the choir's 40th anniversary.
The All-Ohio State Youth Choir has, in the past, performed in concerts around Ohio and abroad, marched in national parades and sung at several gubernatorial inaugurations. The choir has more than 100 concerts scheduled for the duration of the fair.

UMahoning: Kimberly Cope, Jason Madeline and Brian Miller, all of Boardman; Brian Goddard, Youngstown.
UTrumbull: Michelle Mazala, Orangeville; Jessica Molinatto, North Bloomfield.
UColumbiana: Justina Crawford, Wellsville, and Molly Anderson, Gweneth Beard, Raevonne Cramer, Rhianna Frye, Samuel Monte, Rachel Murphy and Ryan Walker, all of East Liverpool.
